The Biography of David Mc Donald: CEO of OSI Group

David McDonald was born in northeast Lowa and raised on a farm. He graduated in the year 1987 from Lowa State University with a degree in animal science. David began his career when he started working with OSI Industries: this was after he had graduated. His hard work got him promoted to be the president and C.E.O of the industry. McDonald currently lives in Warrenville with his family of six children and his wife Malinda.

In 2011, David organized a visit in China for a group of pupils at OSI facilities, one of whom is now engaged with the troupe. His promise in funding the academy has helped a number of students. Additional, apart from his participation at his birth State, McDonald does charity activities to the Parish in Wheaton, Ill at St. Michael.

OSI Group recently purchased Baho Food; a Dutch company that specializes in deli meat. This acquisition enabled OSI to gain a major presence in Europe. Baho Food produces convenience foods emphasizing on snacks and deli meats whereas OSI Industries is in charge of the operation. Throughout David McDonald’s leadership, OSI Group has established up to ten Chinese facilities which specialize in the handling of poultry.

David McDonald the company’s president said he was excited about the opportunities presented by the acquisition of Baho food. He mentioned that the purchase of Baho Food will enable OSI Industries to continue to expand largely throughout the Europe region, thus enabling the company to fulfil its mission to provide evolving services to their global customers. Mr McDonald also added that the products and brands specifically manufactured by Baho Food helped to increase the choices already available to their customers.
