Jason Hope, a tech investor, inventor, and futurist who lives his life on the cutting edge of technology that is shaping the future of humanity. Hope is so passionate about what he believes in that he is putting his money where his mouth is by making his massive donation to SENS, an organization that researches, educates, and hopes to eventually cure age-related diseases such as dementia and Alzheimer’s. Jason Hope has a passion for their cause and the resources to help them in their mission. It’s a perfect match. Jason Hope is a lifelong Arizona resident who received a degree in finance from Arizona State and an MBA from the W.P. Carey School of Business.
After graduation, he began a career that would see him start new businesses, invest in existing ones, and most importantly to Hope, launch his philanthropic mission to change the course of the human race. The donation that Hope pledged to SENS came in at $500,000. Jason was willing to put that kind of money into the California based non-profit organization simply because he believes so sincerely in what they are doing. The donation, made in 2010, allowed SENS to open up the Cambridge SENS laboratory and launch a new research project that will seek to break down advanced glycation age-products in human tissue. These projects are incredibly expensive to even get off the ground, and donations like those made by Jason Hope make them possible.
Hope’s donation will not only help SENS do research projects on diseases that effect the mental state of the elderly. For example, they will also begin working to study and hopefully find a cure for the hardening of the arteries which leads to hypertension and other diseases such as diabetes. This type of research will have multi-faceted effects as the same process that causes those disorders has also been linked to skin aging. There is no end to the type of advancements that SENS can make in their medical research; that potential is even greater with the financial backing of a revolutionary like Jason Hope. Click here.
