His stage name not only came from the European ruler but also from his name Charles back when he sold drugs.

Recently, Charlamagne Tha God shared his thoughts on Lil Wayne’s long-anticipated release, Tha Carter V. When he first got a taste of the new project, he wasn’t amused, expressing this through mimicking Wayne’s voice from on of the tracks on the album. However, following a proper listen to the project, though he didn’t entirely change his mind on it, he came to grow an appreciation for it, saying that he didn’t think that it was subpar as some people have suggested but also certainly did not believe that it was easily the album of the year as some others have said. It’s worth nothing that even considering his grievances with the new album from Lil Wayne, he still identifies the New Orleans rap titan as “The GOAT”, which is a popular acronym that stands for the “greatest of all time”. Charlamagne is also married to Jessica Gadsden who he shares two children with. Visit This Page for related information.
